Daphne Leroy

Daphne Leroy is an accomplished marketing and communications strategist with over 20 years of experience in the media industry. Currently, Daphne serves as Vice President of Marketing at The Paley Center for Media and oversees all consumer marketing, communications, creative services, and digital/social media. With locations in New York and Los Angeles, the Paley Center leads the discussion about the cultural, creative, and social significance of television, radio, and emerging platforms for the professional community and media-interested public.


Spanning all marketing disciplines, Daphne has held management positions at top media & entertainment companies, including MTV, Time Inc., Viacom, and the National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC). Daphne launched her career at FOX Broadcasting in network sales and distribution.


A  native New Yorker, Daphne earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing Management at Baruch College of the City University of New York. She completed the NAMIC Executive Leadership Development Program (ELDP) at the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management and the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) Executive Management Program at Harvard Business School. In recognition of her achievements and business acumen, Daphne’s professional acknowledgements include the CableFAX Magazine list of “Most Influential Minority Executives” in the cable television industry, and Multichannel News “40 Under 40” list of movers and shakers.
